Superintendent

Sharon A. Perry, Ed.D. was appointed as the Superintendent of Schools for the Conewago Valley School District on December 1, 2021. Dr. Perry was previously the Assistant Superintendent for the District, appointed on January 6, 2020.  Dr. Perry holds a bachelor’s degree in English, a master’s degree in secondary English education, and a doctoral degree of educational leadership all from Duquesne University.

Dr. Perry comes to us with an impressive administrative background which includes being the former Director of Career and Technical Education, International Baccalaureate Career Programme Head of Schools, and secondary principal in the State College Area School District.  Dr. Perry was an English teacher and curriculum leader at Jefferson County DuBois Area Vocational Technical School, and a Junior and Senior High gifted education teacher, English teacher, and team leader at North Hills School District in Pittsburgh, PA.  She began her career in education as an English teacher at Vincentian Academy/Duquesne University (an International Baccalaureate World School) in Pittsburgh, PA.
