Family Access
Family Access is a tool for parents to access online, timely, and secure information about their student(s).  Each parent or legal guardian is provided with their own unique portal user ID and password for Family Access.

Student Access
Student Access allows students to access online, timely, and secure information about their grades and attendance records.  Each student in grades 4-12 are provided with their own unique portal user ID and password for Student Access.  
 

Mobile Access
A free app called Skyward Mobile Access is available to download through the iTunes App Store, Google Play, or Amazon Appstore.

Frequently asked questions

I forgot my password, what do I do?
If we have your email address in our system or if you have entered your email address in the system, you can click on the “Forgot Your Login/Password” link on the login screen to retrieve your information. If you do not have an email address in the system, contact the school office for your login information. 

How can I update my email address in Family Access?
Click on the Account Info button in the top right corner and you’ll see a button to change your email address. I have multiple students at Conewago Valley. Will I have multiple logins?

I have multiple students in the district. Will I have multiple logins?
​Each parent/guardian will have one login that will enable them to see each student’s information from that one login.

I’m not able to see all of my students when I log in, what do I do?
If you are not able to see all of your children who attend CVSD, please contact the school office secretary to request the needed changes.

Can other people see my student’s information on Family Access?
Family access is password protected and uses SSL. Your child’s information is only available to authorized parents or guardians that are associated with your student’s records in our administrative system. Please safeguard your login to ensure that you are the only person using the login.

Can I use my student’s login instead of my own?
Students will see some different information that parents won’t see and vice versa. Please be sure to use your own login for the Skyward system so you have access to the tools that are available for parent use.

I’ve completed every step for online registration but it is telling me I’m not showing as completed. What else do I need to do?
Once you have gone through each step and marked them complete, you will need to click “Complete Returning Student Online Registration.” After that, a review screen will come up showing all of the steps and dates of completion. Click the “Submit Returning Student Online Registration” button found in the list on the right side of the screen. That step shows the system that you are completely finished.

Can I submit attendance excuses online?
Yes, Skyward provides parents with an easy alternative to handwritten notes.  See attached document for step by step instructions:
