Federal Programs

The Pennsylvania Department of Education's Division of Federal Programs administers federal programs and funding to 667 local education agencies (LEAs), and over 2,000 nonpublic schools in the amount of approximately $800 million for Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) funding as well as the COVID relief funding in excess of $8 billion. 

The Conewago Valley School District is the proud recipient of federal grant dollars annually to supplement funding which increases quality educational programming to students.  CVSD receives funding under the following federal title programming:

  • Title I.A (Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged)
  • Title II.A (Supporting Effective Instruction)
  • Title III (Language Instruction for English Learners and Immigrant Students)
  • Title IV.A (Student Support and Academic Enrichment- SSAE)
