Crash Course Kids This is another great channel where you can access videos covering various scientific phenomena. Life Noggin is basically an animated educational series that provides entertaining yet intellectually challenging explanations and answers to some vexing questions such as : what if the earth were twice as big? what happens inside your body? what causes cramps... and many more. There is also a section called Myths Debunked that features some very informative videos regarding popular scientific myths.  Browse through the collection and see what works for you.

 It’s Okay to Be Smart This is a channel created by Joe Hanson, Ph.D. Joe takes you into a journey to explore the world of science and space through short informative video clips. In each of these clips, Joe tackles a challenging question or concept related to areas such as biology, physics, space, and earth. You may want to go through some of his collections and you will definitely find something interesting to share with your students.

SchoolTube Video Contest 2018 Videos of the Year

Have your students made some amazing videos, here is your chance to showcase them.

Do your students create amazing videos? If so, here’s the chance to gain national recognition for your students on SchoolTube! 

SchoolTube is kicking off its 2017-18 Videos of the School Year contest, and we are inviting you to share your students’ best work with us.This contest is open to all K12 student-produced videos.

There are three easy ways to enter:

1) Entry Form: Click on the Enter Today link to the right and follow the steps to upload your entries.
2) Twitter: Include a link to a video in a public tweet and mention @schooltube
3) Email: Email link to video outreach@schooltube.com
​

Winners will be chosen weekly May to July 2018 by SchoolTube judges and posted in the Featured Video section of SchoolTube.com.  We are looking for originality, passion, good presentation and communication skills, demonstration of recording and editing techniques, and unique incorporation of visual and audio elements.  Our goal is to showcase quality examples of student-produced videos from around the country.
