Apple Update – Summer 2018
Schoolwork
Schoolwork is a new iPad app for sharing class materials, assigning activities within apps, and seeing student progress. It helps teachers tailor instruction based on individual student needs, and students have one place to see assignments, submit work, and view their own progress. Schoolwork integrates with iWork—Apple’s productivity suite of apps—so teachers can share projects and collaborate with students.

Everyone Can Create
We designed Everyone Can Create with the simple idea that students should have the opportunity to learn fundamental skills in video, photography drawing and music so they can bring more creativity into everything they do in and out of school. The curriculum makes it easy to introduce students to the art of expression using apps built into every iPad like iMovie, Clips, Pages, and GarageBand, and helps teachers find fun and meaningful ways to bring these skills into any lesson, topic, or assignment.
Everyone Can Code
Everyone Can Code introduces coding concepts visually on iPad for elementary levels, teaches students how to write code with the Swift Playgrounds app in middle school, and helps students build iOS apps on Mac with Swift and Xcode in high school and beyond. Companion Teacher Guides contain key concepts, lesson plans, discussion prompts, and more to help all educators teach coding—even those with no prior experience.
