Horace Mann Celebrates Educators
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (Nov. 9, 2018) – During American Education Week (Nov. 12-16), Horace Mann is honoring educators across the country, recognizing the positive impact they have on their students. Horace Mann, a company helping educators achieve their financial goals, will donate $10,000 to DonorsChoose.org projects through its “Honoring Mentors: American Education Week” sweepstakes.
Now through Nov. 16, educators can enter the sweepstakes through Horace Mann’s Facebook page or at horacemann.com. Up to $2,000 will be donated to DonorsChoose.org projects each day of American Education Week, Nov. 12-16. Educators may also call their local Horace Mann agent with their official seven-digit DonorsChoose.org project number and have them complete the contest form. To be eligible for funding, projects should be valued at $500 or less. Projects over $500 may be eligible only if the remaining amount to fully fund the project is under $500.
